The Holiday RV Park is a peaceful, wooded, and well-maintained campground conveniently located near the junction of interstate I-80 and highway US-83 in North Platte, Nebraska. The park is a good place to stop while passing through this area of western Nebraska.

Details

We stayed for one night at the Holiday RV Park in mid August, 2019. The staff were friendly at check-in.

Cost

For one night at a 50 amp full hookup gravel pull-thru site, we paid about $42, with tax and Good Sam discount. There were no additional fees for pets or an extra vehicle.

Accessibility – 4/5

The campground is easily accessible from I-80 via paved streets. Lanes in the park are reasonably well-maintained gravel. The park has pull-thru and back-in RV sites and can accommodate large rigs. The campground facilities have some provisions for Universal access.

Facilities/Amenities – 4/5

The park amenities include full hookup 50/30 and 30 amp RV sites, 30 amp partial hookup sites, tent sites, restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, cable TV, small camp store, swimming pool, horseshoes, playgrounds, recreation room, and large picnic area. Facilities were clean, but the bathhouse looked tired and could use renovation.

Site quality – 4/5

RV sites are full hookup 50/30 amp, full hookup 30 amp, or 30 amp partial hookup. Sites have picnic tables, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Park sites are pull-thru or back-in, gravel, clean, and most have shade trees.

Scenic Value – 4/5

The campground is nicely wooded – cool and shady – with grassy lawns and sites.

Location/Isolation – 4/5

The campground is fairly quiet, despite being near the interstate. Sites are large and do not feel crowded.

Paws Friendliness – 4/5

The campground is pet friendly, with cleanup stations and designated pet walk area along side the frontage road. There was no enclosed pet run. The campground is large enough for a fair walk with your pet.

Overall Rating – 4/5

Overall, the Holiday RV Park is a peaceful and convenient place to stay while passing through the area. We enjoyed our short stay and would visit another time.

We received a moderate 4G Verizon signal at this campground. The campground provided free WiFi (we were not able to connect with provided password, though).
