The above quote, as displayed at the main office of the Manchester Beach / Mendocino Coast KOA, certainly reflects our experience of these past few weeks. We have visited with family, made some wonderful new friends and visited stunningly scenic locations – experiences which have certainly taken our breath away.

Wine Country RV Resort

After a long winter with little travel, it feels great exploring the open road again. After leaving our winter digs at Silent Valley Club, we traveled to Paso Robles for a week-long stay at the Wine Country RV Resort in the heart of the central coast wine region of California. Although we have visited the area before and gone wine tasting on a few occasions, this was the first time we stayed in Paso Robles.

Scattered throughout Paso Robles and the surrounding area are more than 200 wineries with an amazing variety of wines. We were really looking forward to a more leisurely exploration of the area and opportunity to sample some of the wines. We were not disappointed!
